Hey everyone!

So Christmas is upon us. For some of us it means family, some it means the gift giving, or gift getting, or the food, or something that feels good inside.

I think one major thing about Christmas, is that it's usually a happy time. But not to everyone. Sometimes, there are small things that harsh the holidays, sometimes someone is forgotten and not cared about.

This Christmas, I tend to make someone's holiday brighter. And this year, I think no one could use it more than this fellow right here:

This is Chris Verge. A very sweet, kind-hearted unselfish young man who has nothing but love for people of all ages, generosity to all his friends and even to those he doesn't know... in the past 5 months, he's given out 21 subscriptions to random people who don't even know who he is, all because they just randomly stated as a joke even, "Man subbies are cool, I wish I had one"

Now what could possibly be this great guys' problem? Well, it's not so much he has a problem, it's that the world seems to have a problem with him. Sure he has his flaws, but who doesn't? But it seems all this year, EVERYONE, including some of his friends, have harshed on him, tried to make his life a living hell, thrown his compassion and love back in his face and spat on him.

Recently, Chris did a small mistake and paid for it. But that's it. He paid for it. He changed. He realized what he did and has become a stronger, even MORE compassionate person because of it. Yet he still faces struggles because more and more people just want to shut him down.

That's why this Christmas, I am starting Operation Care for Chris. Otherwise known as Operation CFC. (Or shorter, OCFC) I happen to know there are people who deep down inside do care for Chris, and know how awesome he is. I'm proposing a challenge to anyone who has felt alone, who has felt like no one loves them, anyone here on DA who knows Chris very well, or is friends with someone who knows Chris.

Here's my challenge:

You make a devation for Chris showing how much you do honestly and truly care for him. And if you don't know him that well, at least a devation of encouragement. But a drawing, maybe a poem, maybe.. I don't know, SOMETHING. But try to maybe also, along with your dev, a note or something, showing one or more reasons WHY you care about him. And also pass this journal along DA.

My goal is not only to show Chris how many friends he really has, but also to PROVE to these people who are harshing on him, that he is REALLY a guy you have to get to know up close and personal before they can make any kind of judgement call.

So take the time to just think of one more soul this holiday. Give a little of time and patience to show someone who deserves a lot of respect and care, that he has it.

Oh, and BTW girls... he's single But don't tell him I told you that! XD
